LORRAINE WALLACE
I have always been interested in alternative health, but particularly in
homeopathy, when after visiting a homeopath my asthma was successfully treated.
I also found that the treatment greatly improved my general well being.
In 2009 I successfully qualified as a homoeopath from the Devon School of
Homoeopathy where I studied classical homeopathy. I am also a registered member
of the Society of Homeopaths, and am committed to continued professional development
in accordance to guidelines set out by the Society. This includes meeting
in a homeopathic supervision group once a month as well as attending seminars
throughout the year.
As well as homeopathy I currently work for the NHS as a nursing assistant.
This gives me a conventional perspective of health care as well as experience
with people who have severe disabilities and long term health conditions.
I have a particular interest and training in mental health issues, some
which I gained from volunteering for the charity Womankind, who offer support
and befriending for vulnerable woman.
